Board of Regents March

Provost Hanson provided a strategic planning update to the Board of Regents on March 28. A video of the presentation is available online (starting at 42:45).

Provost Hanson outlined planning progress to date and provided an overview of the vision and supporting goals developed as an outline plan by the Strategic Planning Work Group. Two faculty members of the group, professors Reuben Harris (biochemistry, molecular biology, and biophysics) and Joe Konstan (computer science and engineering) participated in the presentation to the regents. They are cochairs of one of the five issue teams--Grand Challenges Research (along with Al Levine, liaison for special initiatives in the provost's office and professor of food science and nutrition).

To learn more about the goals and the overall strategic plan, please attend a strategic planning Campus Conversation on Tuesday, April 14, in the Mississippi Room, 321 Coffman Union (map). Attendees are encouraged to RSVP prior to the event.
